After recently viewing the original, animated film of Alice in Wonderland, Jan created this Wonderland version using the Victorian Top Hat file. Roses, hearts, feathers, a pocket watch and more are featured in this Spring themed Wonderland hat design.
This project is easy to recreate.
Assemble the hat side, brim and top as shown in the assembly video using the link above.
A strip of white tulle is used in place of the hat bands. Feathers and hearts were tucked into the tulle and used as additional decoration. A few more hearts were sprinkled around the brim of the hat.
The rolled roses are from the hat file. Jan added some yellow stamens to the center of each rose with a drop of hot glue. The pocket watch is a resized version of the Round Candy Box. The watch measures about 1 ½ inches in diameter and is about ½ inch deep. Jan used hot glue to secure these elements to the hat. Add additional elements to complete the theme of a Wonderland themed hat.
Check out the library in your software.
Using shapes from the SCAL Library, select the rabbit ears and hearts.
Jan’s addition of the rosette is easy to replicate using a horizontal rectangle and vertical score lines at regular intervals across the rectangle.
Enjoy your make.
Spring is just around the corner. Create a new themed hat with one of these files.

Spring holidays are just around the corner and as you prepare for holidays or outdoor activities, join in the fun, and create a spring chapeau to celebrate the new season’s arrival.
March is just around the corner and there’s no time to waste if you’re planning on celebrating Mardi Gras this year with a FUN new piece! Why not create a fun adaptation of the gnome file and celebrate with a Mardi Gras Gnome!
The Gnome SVG file got a bit of a makeover, and our new Mardi Gras gnome is looking forward to grabbing a few extra strands of beads before the party ends.
If you don’t have double-sided patterned paper make your own by gluing two panels, back-to-back (you’ll need to cut 2 sets of panels). Lightly train the paper by curving the panels.
Next, join the tab for the brim.
Glue the panels to the inside of the rim of the hat with the pointed ends curling outward. Let dry. Add the decorative panel to the rim of the hat. If desired, add bells or another decorative element to the end of the panel at the point.
Place the hat on the gnome body. Adhere the nose and add any additional details you wish.
Fill the body of the gnome with a fun treat. Add a crumpled piece of tissue paper and let it puff up at the center of the hat area.
Of course, Mardi Gras isn’t the only holiday in March… St. Patrick’s day will follow in a couple of short weeks. Check out this cute St Patrick’s Day adaptation of the Gnome file!

Create the perfect centerpiece for this year’s BIG GAME using the Football Helmet and the football version from the Sports Trophy file! The 2022 Super Bowl is just around the corner… did your teams make it? Ours didn’t, but that doesn’t mean there’s not just a little bit of interest in the day’s events.
There’s still time to get a few pieces put together for the February 13th big game! Decorate your table with these and surround them with all those yummies you’ll feast on during the game.
Helmets: Follow the video instructions to construct the helmets. The boxes were left out of this version. Just adhere the front guard to the bottom near the back of the inside of the helmet. Decorate the outside of the helmet as desired. You can even create a sticker for each of the football conferences using a chunky serif font and some stars from your cutting software library and printable vinyl or choose a favorite player’s number and apply to the side of the helmets
If you choose to use the small box included with the helmet file, you can fill them with small treats – and make one for each of your guests to take home!
Trophy: Cut all the pieces. Use the foil quill to personalize the trophy with the year or your favorite team. Assemble the base. Assemble the football. TIP: Use textured paper for the football on the trophy. It’s a perfect addition and doesn’t require an embossing folder. Adhere the shapes to the front of the trophy top as desired, assemble and attach to the base. Add other embellishments as desired. There are several other options available on the website for you to use for your Bowl game celebration. Consider using any of these:
The Explosion Box is a great way to make a gift for any occasion.
This Valentine’s Day explosion box was designed by Susan using the Explosion Box with 2 Boxes SVG file. She added Valentine’s Day paper and a few additional Valentine’s embellishments. The two inside boxes are filled with conversation hearts and wrapped Valentine’s candy.
Isn’t this just gorgeous! It is a simple and easy Valentine’s gift. If you are unsure, watch how easy this is to put together in this assembly video.
This Vintage Camper is can be a box or used as a luminary.
And here is our Vardo design for those that love the Gypsy Wagon look. At the time I designed this, my spouse was building a Vardo. It was a fun design to create and one of my favorites. Below are a few created by talented designers Annie and Helle, Springtime Vardo by Annie and Gypsy Wagon by Helle.

This little bee camper was inspired by the bee digital paper I used from Echo Park I LOVE SPRING Paper Pack #1. I resized the Vintage Camper SVG file to 75% size of the original. I used the paper to cut out the side panels and optional front, back and top panels found in the Extra Stuff folder included in the file. I used the extra alternate shutters, as well as additional awnings on all sides. I even added fun honeycomb patterned paper to the door and tires. The bees are print and cut versions of the bees from the Buzzing Bees Box Card.
