Here is Part 2 of a series of card holder and card projects created by Nancy at the Nickel Nook. For the second part of this series, she created a fun duo using one of the cards from the A2 Frame Card Set 2 and the Flip-Over Greeting Card Holder.
Oh, look! Another Christmas themed design…this time from Lena. She made three different Disc Ornament Boxes using the 4 inch Disc Ornament Box SVG. I love the embellishments she added to each of them. The boxes inserts to help keep the ornament secure.
Oh, this birdhouse mobile that Janet designed is such a great idea! Isn’t it cute? She used our Bird House SVG File and created her own paper using Distress Oxides on watercolor paper. Head on over to Janet’s Blog for the details!
Loving Leslie’s beautiful version of the Garden Bench Gift Box with butterflies. I especially liked the use of the kraft cardstock with the Nuvo drop accents.
After I cutout the first version of the FREE Slanted Gift Box SVG Design, it kind of looked like a tool box. I thought…I bet I could all a handle on the top and it would look like it. Sure enough. This is why I made this version and I wanted an excuse to use this Tim Holtz Idea-ology license plate paper.
I added the panels before I assembled the box.
I used my piercing tool to poke holds for my twine. I tied a not inside on each end to hold it. This twine is more rigid. I love it and have a few rolls of it from Ikea. I never saw it again, but it was a holiday item. I also added a large Fastenater staple to the front of the lid opening. If you have been around awhile, the Fastenator was a thick scrapbooking staple with stapler manufactured by EK Success. It has been discontinued. I still have a lot in my craft supplies though.
That was it! It will make a great gift box for one of the guys in my life. I hope you enjoy the free file!
