I’m excited to make these for 2 car enthusiasts. Where did you get the embossing folder for the silver background?

    • Sandy

I used a Diamond Plate embossing folder from Cuttlebug. That would be hard to find, as they stopped making Cuttlebug embossing folders. I found a few from other companies when I googled it. Good luck!

I made the tire box with my Cricut. I think I see now why the Design Space shows different colors for the parts, it may be because they are so similar. The video does help in getting the right parts together. This is the perfect box to give to my husband. Thank you for all your wonderful designs.

    • Sandy

Thanks for the clarification. I will take a look at the file closer in Design Space. I really am not a fan of how different parts show on mats with darker colors. It is an older design, so perhaps it is time for a facelift!

  3. Claudia Hamilton

Was easy to put together; however, the SVG showed black, dark gray and light gray so I used those colors when cutting, and it just didn’t look right, so I recut it using all black cardstock and it came out right. It would be better to show as all black cardstock in the SVG file and silver for the embellishments which is shown as blue in the SVG which is fine.

Thanks for the feedback. It would be helpful to know what software you are using, as it looks different in with different cutting machine software. I am guessing it is Cricut Design Space. If so, this is just because Design Space has changed over the years. When I designed it in 2017, it looked different. I will consider making the update, if I know where to test. Thank you!
